Local Clubs visit Dromclough N.S.
Finuge/ St. Senans LGFA - Co. Senior Football Champions 2023
Not long after welcoming the Crotta hurlers with their County title, lightning struck twice as the superb ladies of Finuge/ St. Senans won the Co. Football Final! Having suffered heartache to Southern Gaels in the 2022 showpiece event, these gallant women, many of whom are past pupils of Dromclough, were not going to let this one slip and came out very deserving winners. We were thrilled to welcome them to the school on following day to celebrate, much to the delight of all their young supporters.
Crotta O' Neills - Co. Hurling Champions 2023
For the first time in 55 years, Crotta O' Neills are Co. Senior Hurling Champions. They were victorious in the 2023 decider against near neighbours Lixnaw. What excitement we had to welcome the winning squad to the school. This squad contains many past pupils of Dromclough including the captain, Bill Keane who raised the Neilus Flynn Cup in Austin Stack Park on the day in front of the TG4 cameras. It was brilliant to have the team and management with us to celebrate.
St. Senans claim back-to-back North Kerry Titles
Having waited 84 years for their first title St. Senans did not have to wait long for their second as they won the 2019 North Kerry Championship Final last Sunday completing a historic two-in-a-row.
Many of these players are past pupils of Dromclough and took the time out of their Monday afternoon to come and celebrate with all the pupils and staff of the school.

St. Senans crowned North Kerry Champions for the first time ever!
In December 2018, we were treated to great scenes of joy as, following their historic first ever victory in the North Kerry Championship Final the previous day, members of the St. Senans GAA team made their way to Dromclough to celebrate with the local school community.
