EU Blue Star Programme 

Pupils in 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th classes participated in the EU Blue Star Programme which raises awareness of the EU countries and Ireland’s membership of the EU. We participated in a variety of activities, including online quizzes with schools from other EU countries. All classes in the school ran the daily mile for a virtual ‘Run around Europe’. All four classes celebrated Europe Day, May 9th with 3rd & 4th classes doing projects on EU member countries and taking part in the country flag parade down the field. 5th & 6th classes celebrated Europe Day with European food, making and baking their own pizzas and making creative desserts such as Tiramisu.
Niamh & Cillian in Rang 5 also raised the EU flag on Monday 28th June.
