Basketball Tournaments

Pupils from 3rd - 6th class took part in well organised basketball competitions throughout the week. All players got plenty of court time and enjoyed competitive games against their peers. The winning teams and snap shots from the action can be seen below:

Staff vs Students Fun Basketball Challenge

For many, this is the highlight of the week. The chance for the 6th class pupils to dish it out to their elders in what is a competitive yet friendly challenge match. It certainly lived up to the billing as both sides served up some wonderful basketball much to the delight of all the pupils watching.
In the end, bragging rights went the way of the staff who retain their title for another year at least!

Zumba

All classes took part in a zumba lesson in the Halla Mór. Each lesson lasted 30mins. as pupils were put through their paces by a professional instructor. They certainly worked up a sweat in a high energy experience that was enjoyed by students and staff alike.
